Workplace Trauma Recovery and Building Healthy Work Environments
"According to EHSToday, a poll found that 53 percent of working Americans have experinced a traumatic event while on te job, But among those, less than half (45 percent) said their employer offered any type of support to help them grieve, cope or recover in the aftermath."
Together we can work to help employees recognize and begin to heal from workplace trauma and provide business and organizational leaders with the tools to create positive work environments.
2 Signs of a Toxic Work Environment

Evaluate the underlying support network: discriminatory beliefs; treating employees as assets, not people; information guarding (poor communication/unclear expectations); aggressive or hostile leadership styles; belief that employees are lazy, stupid and/or expendable; resentment of Authority; contrariness; lack of accountability; lack of appreciation for (or recognition of) good work (https://www.hrmorning.com)
