Therapeutic Yoga is a relaxing and deep meditative practice that teaches you how to remain centered and grounded during stressful moments. Through the use of hands-on healing, yoga postures, breathing techniques, meditation and visualization, you will begin to learn how to manage stress and allow your body to release tension and heal itself.

The science behind the benefits of therapeutic yoga was proven by the research of Dr. Herbert Benson. Dr. Benson discovered what is known as the Relaxation Response. The process involves the body's neurological shift from the sympathetic nervous system to the parasympathetic nervous system. In other words, you move from a state of tension and stress to a state of calmness and reduced anxiety. 

How can therapeutic yoga help you?
